Camp Facilities

Just off the Caprock to the east of Lubbock lies a hidden oasis that generations of Girl Scouts have experienced for 65 years called Camp Rio Blanco (CRB). Through the years CRB has provided a variety of outdoor educational opportunities for girls 5 to 18 years old in which girls build life-long friendships while gaining confidence as they explore nature,  experience over-night camping, and learn new life skills that provide a strong foundation for leadership for the future.

In 2025, Camp Rio Blanco Circle of Friends were gifted Camp Rio Blanco and are working to transition the camp into a place where people all across the West Texas area and South Plains can come to enjoy the outdoor opportunities at CRB.
